The Latest News about DEMML.org

The web site is really starting to shape up.

July 8, 2009 - I am finally working on finishing up the web site. To that end, I have created a separate blog for my more esoteric musings about DEMML™ and education in general. Go take a look at demml.blogspot.com.

April 22, 2007 - In order to help make it clear that DEMML™ is not just another proprietary CBT system I have created a page which highlights the unique features of DEMML™. I believe these features set DEMML™ apart from everything else that is out there.

April 12, 2007 — All of the goals are now posted. Yes, they are a little wordy. I had written the beginnigs of a proposal so I am just using that text for now. I will try to adjust it to better fit the web format later. First I need to get at least something up for all the sample pages that are up so far.

April 11, 2007 — The web site is still in a lot of flux and will be for another week or so. I first sat down to start working on it sometime in the afternoon last Sunday. By 2:00 am the next morning I had the basic page layout and site structure finished. Anyone familiar with Dreamweaver can see that I used one of their templates, but I have modified it quite a bit. It looks the same to the user but is much more efficient behind the scenes. Having no other means of testing the site I went ahead and posted it live. Who's going to see it anyway. Only my friends know about it so far. But, just in case anyone out there is reading this, all those pages full of latin will be filled in with real content soon. They are just filler so I can develop the structure of the site in an organized fashion before filling in the content. Check back in a week or so.I should have all of the sections about the goals finished by then. The rest will come as I polish off the details of the standard and properly document it. In the mean time, let me know what you think so far.
